The module is dedicated to all users who are performing printing projects based on surface files.

Those files mostly are generated during scanning of the different parts however, they do not pay much attention to the correctness of the generated model. The 3D model is a basic element for generating a G-CODE, that is a reason why it is so important for the user to have a tool for verification and fixing a model.

Main functionalities of SOFTSHAPER REPAIR are:

  • fixing structure of the model through opening the triangle and model analysis,
  • model analysis in terms of intersection of the surface or edge,
  • detecting and automatically repairing the surface discontinuities of the model,
  • implementing the Bool's operations, which allows to connect, remove and select parts which are common for selected models,
  • separating models which are saved as one (ex. exported assemblies).
